Lead the Change: Join the Junior Advisory Board

If you’re 13–17 and want to make a difference, build confidence, and stand out on college applications, this is the place to start.

The Junior Advisory Board gives students the chance to influence real projects, take on leadership roles. Led currently by students from Ardrey Kell High School, five area schools – and growing – are represented in this service organization. It’s more than volunteering — it’s a chance to shape community impact while building skills that matter. 

Our community service club is evolving into a Junior Advisory Board, and we are seeking passionate, driven youth leaders to help shape the future of our initiatives.

This is more than volunteering. It is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in leadership, project management, and community engagement while contributing to impactful service efforts in our local area.

What You Will Do

As a Junior Advisory Board member, you will play an active role in planning, executing, and improving our programs. Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in community cleaning and beautification events that directly improve local neighborhoods
  • Conducting interview phone calls to support outreach and engagement efforts
  • Assisting with data entry and analysis projects to help guide decision-making and measure impact
  • Supporting marketing initiatives, including filming social media content and helping organize fundraising campaigns to volunteer opportunities for special events. 

Time Commitment

  • A minimum requirement of 10 service hours per year 
  • Being an officer may require additional time, around 1 hour per week
  • Flexible scheduling designed to accommodate academic and extracurricular responsibilities
